The Power Pack

The power pack supplies the device with electricity to adjust the lens opacity, provides manual control and relays control from the blue tooth app. The power pack is the size of a  deck of cards and can be clipped to the belt of the student or instructor.

The App

The smartphone app will allow an instructor to remotely select the student’s visibility, introducing the element of surprise into training. Instructors will be able to determine the transition rate, track simulated IMC time. The end goal is to intergrate into EFBs for dynamic multimodal training senarios.
